Hi, this page is about Me! Rose Marie (Dykes) Morgan, born December 10, 1950 in a small coal mining town of Palmer on the beautiful Cumberland Plateau in Grundy County, Tennessee. My father delivered me one snowy (14 inches) morning. I have three brothers and two sisters.
Yes, my Daddy was a coal miner (Coal Miner's Daughter) for a while but mostly a trucker. Mom raised us, which was enough of a job for any woman.
I received a AS. Mechanical Engineering degree while working for TVA as an Assistant Unit Operator at one of their nuclear plants. I took an early retirement in 1994 and began selling real estate. In June, 2003, I moved to Mountain City Realtors Valley Branch and continue to list and sell the finest properties in Sequatchie and surrounding counties.
I enjoy crafts (painting), decorating for Christmas, and fishing (bass). The largest one I have landed is six pounds, a lot bigger ones got away of course!.
I enjoy traveling, and meeting new people. I love real estate but really get pleasure out of helping low income and first time homebuyers get their first home.
